Barangay 2021

On November 6th, we held our annual Barangay! Barangay is our biggest event of the Fall semester, so we were so excited to finally have it in person for the first time in a while!

Our very own Casandra Necio started the night off with the US National Anthem, followed by Aaron Agustin with the Filipino National Anthem. Then, we saw an amazing performance by Dragonflies!

Our ~ special guest ~ of the night was Jeremy Passion, who wowed the crowd with a medley of popular R&B songs, his originals, and of course, Lemonade <3

The night continued with some awesome dance performances by Kohesion, Project D, and Maglalatik, and we ended the night with everyone’s favorite — Tinikling! We appreciate all the hard work our performers have put into Barangay; we can’t thank you enough for your dedication and your hard work!

Maraming salamat (thank you very much!) to Kusina Ni Inang for catering our event — we always love having you guys, and the food is always a hit! And, to our co-sponsors, CSA, KSA, JSA, Union Latina, ISA, AAA, Dragonflies, and Lambda Theta Alpha and all of our volunteer committees — thank you for helping us make this night a huge success! We couldn’t have done it without you all <3

Barangay was most definitely a night to remember, and it was wonderful to see you all having fun! We’ll see you next Thursday at our GBM!
