GBM #11: White Elephant!

This week’s GBM started off strong with a surprise visit from Tito Abet, who generously brought donuts for us! The holiday season is about giving, and BKAD showed that by bringing items for our Balikbayan Box drive with The Puso Foundation! After getting settled, we began our game of  White Elephant. Everyone gets a random number that determines your turn in the game. When it’s your turn, you can either get a new gift from the pile or steal an opened gift from someone who’s already gone. This game was intense, with people falling to their knees after being stolen from numerous times. Some of the most sought after gifts were smiskis, lego flowers, a rice cooker + uniqlo shirt, and some Kpop albums! As they say, all’s fair in love and war. And this was war. But a festive one! At the end of the day, BKAD came together one last time for the semester to spend time with each other. Maybe the real White Elephant was the friends we made along the way.
